Zudy: No-Code Platform for Enterprise IT Based on Next-Gen Solution Architecture

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

As the low-code and no-code platform markets mature, they are dividing into two camps: low-code for accelerating the work of enterprise app developers, and no-code for line-of-business users to build a range of lightweight enterprise apps with little or no involvement from IT.

Vinyl’s three key differentiators:

  • While many low-code platforms allow developers to code their own JavaScript or CSS manually if they desire, Vinyl offers an English language-like business logic environment Zudy calls MVSQL instead. With it, developers can rewrite even complex Excel formulas and macros or the equivalent without a line of code.
  • Zudy has written Vinyl in Vinyl, giving the company the ability to update the platform as rapidly as its customers can update their apps.
  • Because of how dramatically Vinyl changes application design and creation processes for large organizations, solution architects must lead the effort to rethink these critical areas. To facilitate this process, Zudy provides its own seasoned solution architects to help customers design their applications.

As even complex enterprise apps may only take a day or two to build with Zudy, the work of the solution architect can take as little as a couple of hours. Instead of a potential bottleneck to growth, therefore, Zudy’s reliance on solution architects is an important calling card for its disruptive approach to application creation.
